Volcanic Stone & Pony Leather
The Brigid Bench brings together the permanence of volcanic stone with the tactile softness of Pony leather. Named after the Celtic goddess of fire, poetry, and healing, it considers the domestic as a sacred site for pause, comfort, and presence. Its softened geometry and contrasting materials hold opposites together: rough and smooth, warmth and mass, monumentality and intimacy.

Brigid Bench
The base is carved from cantera, a volcanic stone used in Mexico for centuries, whose natural speckling and sculptural texture give the bench an earthy presence. A plush hair-on leather cushion rests above it, introducing warmth and softness while recalling midcentury furniture where strict geometry was tempered by tactile materials.

Brigid draws from carved stone benches found in gardens across the world, as well as European architectural traditions and Aztec artifacts. Its column-like legs and softened top create a dialogue between structure and gesture, while the contrast of shiny and matte, rough and soft, gives the piece a quiet material harmony.
