The Umbral Table is carved from volcanic stone, its stepped base recalling the foundations of ancient temples. Stainless steel inlays cut through the dark surface like lines of light, creating a tension between heaviness and openness. Monumental yet familiar, the table acts as a quiet altar for daily life - a place for meals, gathering, and reflection where archaic forms meet contemporary rituals.

Umbral Table
The thin stainless steel lines are not simply decorative; they are the joinery itself. Stone and metal lock together mechanically without glue, allowing the inlays to bind the top and base into a unified structure.
The contrast between dark volcanic stone and luminous steel gives the table a restrained material presence. The seams reveal the construction while becoming part of the visual language, suggesting that structural necessity can also become an expressive detail.
